With the fall sports schedule completed, Dunster House holds an early lead in the race for the Straus Trophy.
With the fall season ended, the Funsters have a 50-point edge on second place Eliot, holder of the trophy. Dunster took first place in touch football, seconds in soccer and cross country, and fourth in football.
Second place Eliot is far ahead of the rest of the field with two first places and two sixth places for 310 points. The championship Elephant football team picked up 150 of those points.
Lowell, which finished seventh in the race last year, is in a surprising tie for third with Leverett House. The Bellboy soccer team picked up 150 points by copping the soccer league championship.
