Tailback Dick Clasby has been named to the United Press All New England football team, while fullback John Culver and Captain John Nichols, a tackle, have been selected for the second team. Holy Cross quarterback Chuck Maloy, Sid Goldfader of Brandeis, and Gay Salvucci of American International are in the first backfield with Clasby.
Yale's Ed Woodsum made first string end, Jerry Jones made the second back-field, and Ed Molloy is in the third back-field.
Clasby finised second in the East in total rushing with 950 yards, only 12 short of first place.
Other Crimson opponents on the first team are tackle Howie Borjeson of Brown, and guard Pete Reich of Dartmouth. Tackle George Rambour, also of Dartmouth, made the second team.
