NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Union Committee is arranging the installation of washing machines and dryers in the Yard, Committee President Thomas M. Lownes '56, announced last night. Officials of the Maytag company have been negotiating with the committee and plan to have some machines installed by January.

Lownes said that the machines will be installed in the basements of several Yard dormitories, but that the exact locations have not yet been chosen. The Union Committee will get 20 percent of the receipts and take care of cleaning the machines.
