Yale freshman fullback Alex Taylor pumped in a penalty kick with 40 seconds to go in the first half yesterday to give his team a 1 to 0 victory over the Yardling booters.

The teams were evenly matched. Crimson captain Bill Laimbeer and Hugh Sargent turned in exceptional games at fullback. Stacey Holmes was the offensive standout, playing the entire game at either halfback or inside. Coach Poley Guyda was not with the team.
