Eliot Is Favored Against Berkeley

Eliot is favored to win its second House College championship in three years at the expense of Berkeley College this afternoon. Two years ago the Elephants topped Berkeley, 27 to 0.

John McNamara scored two touchdowns in that game and will start at fullback again this afternoon for Eliot.

On the basis of comparative records, Adams House is favored over Saybrook, Leverett over Timothy Dwight, and Lowell over Kirkland, Branford over Dunster, Davenport over Winthrop, and Jonathan Edwards over Dudley.

Both Eliot and Berkeley work from the information. Berkeley record in the Yale league was five wins, no losses and one tie. "Eliot went through the House season undefeated untied, and unscored upon, while pulling up 125 points for itself.

Last year Calboun topped Leverett 14 to 0 for the House College title. Only Eliot and Winthrop beat the Elis as Yale won six of the eight games.
