Weiland's Hockey Team Starts Practice Officially on Monday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Varsity hockey practice officially gets under way Monday when at least 40 candidates will turn out for the team at the Arena.

Some of the team has been informally working out at the Skating Club for the past six weeks, and in the last two weeks about 15 men have been doing calisthenics in the Indoor Athletic Building.

Coach Cooney Weiland expects good performances this year from last year's freshman standouts Doug Manchester, Ed Mrkonich, and Carl Hathaway.
