Houses Hold Parties For Returning Grads

Lowell and Dunster will hold alumni homecoming parties Yale weekend, it was announced yesterday. Both will give old grads lunch and a cocktail party before the game.

Theodore Johnson '54, chairman of the Dunster House Alumni Affairs Committee, said last night he expects about 50 couples to attend Dunster's second annual event. "Our purpose is to bring alumni back to the House to renew old friendships," Johnson said.

Elliott Perkins '23, Master of Lowell House, is spreading the word through a letter to House alumni. Lowell tried such a party on an informal scale in 1950.

Johnson said the Dunster House party is now on a permanent basis. Last year's Dunster homecoming, held the weekend of the Army game, attracted about 40 old grads.

If the Lowell party is successful, it too, may become an annual event.
