Football officials will honor William J. Bingham '16, former Director of Athletics, for his contribution to college athletics at a dinner tomorrow. The New York Chapter of the Eastern Association of Intercollegiate Football Officials sponsor the dinner, to which over 100 officials from New England have been invited.
Bingham, who directed athletics here for 25 years, made intramural sports a reality through his "Athletics for All" program. He retired last year. Bingham, a track star when an undergraduate, coached track for five years before his executive appointment.
