Bert Haines, retired 150 pound crew coach, is improving steadily from a heart attack which has hospitalized him for over a month, Mount Auburn Hospital reported last night. He has been "in critical condition" and on the hospital's danger list since October 15.
Haines is still allowed no visitors with the exception of his immediate family.
The 72-year-old veteran coached the 150-lb. crow for over 30 years before his retirement last July.
