Fine Arts Lecturer Unhurt In Car Smashup Last Night

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Two cars were badly damaged in an accident at the corner of Mt. Auburn and Holyoke Streets late last night, but there were no serious injuries to either driver.

Philip Hofer '21, lecturer on Fine Arts and Secretary of the Fogg Museum, the driver of one car, was thrown to the street from the impact of the accident, but escaped with no bruises.

The crack-up apparently occurred when Hofer attempted to make a Uturn and was hit from behind by the second car.

A crowd of close to 100 students gathered within minutes after the accident.
