Lowell House assured itself of at least a tie for the soccer championship by beating Kirkland 2 to 1 yesterday.
Eric Wentworth headed in the winning goal for the Bellboys with less than two minutes to go in the second overtime period. Mike Blumenfeld scored the other Lowell goal and Sam Cousins scored for Kirkland.
The Bellboys need only a draw against Leverett next week to take the House title. But a win for the Bunnies will give them a tie with Lowell. In the event of a Lowell loss, Dunster can also gain a tie for the lead by beating Winthrop.
