Neither athletic officials nor medical personnel would comment last night on the seriousness of injuries sustained by Bob Hardy, Harvey Popell and Bob Stargel in the Princeton game last Saturday.
Hardy, star defensive linebacker, and Stargel, outside tackle, were injured in the last quarter; Popell, defensive right end, was hurt early in the first quarter.
Newspaper reports, that could not be confirmed, stated that Hardy may be out for the rest of the season, and that Stargel and Popell may be unable to play in the Brown game.
Hardy is at Stillman with a serious leg injury, probably a badly sprained ankle.
