The powerful Crimson sailing team continued its winning career over the weekend, taking the Danmark Trophy in a 12-team regatta at New London. The varsity finished with 234 points; second-place Coast Guard had 211.

Jim Nathanson was high point man in the meet, with 128 points. Sailing in Division B, Nathanson scored five firsts and four seconds in eleven races.

The other Crimson entrant, senior Charlie Hoppin, finished first only once, but ended with 106 points, third highest in Division B.

Never in any real danger, the Crimson led from the start and finished well ahead of the pack.
