H.A.A., Crime Seek New Name for All-Star Contest

The Crimson and the Athletic Association yesterday announced a contest to re-name the All-Star House football game, known last year as "Open-Closed."

The prizes:

TWO YALE GAME football tickets, high on the fifty.

A FREE SUBSCRIPTION to the CRIMSON for the rest of the winner's University career, retroactive to the beginning of the year.

Outlived Usefulness

Both the CRIMSON and the Athletic Association, co-sponsors of all-star House athletic contests, agreed that the "Open-Closed" title had outlived its usefulness.

The game last year, scheduled for the open football weekend, was rained out and eventually played on Armistice Day. The Athletic Association then announced that the game would be an annual Armistice Day event.

There is no open date this year.

Adolph Samborski '25, Director of Intramural Athletics, announced yesterday that a permanent alignment of Houses had been made. This grouping, different from last year, will send all-stars from Eliot, Dunster, Winthrop and Adams against all-stars from Lowell, Leverett, Kirkland and Dudley in annual football, basketball, and hockey games.

This new line-up of Houses is the result of a review of House standing in the three sports over a period of 17 years. The sponsors feel that a permanent alignment will help to build up interest in the various games.

Complete rules for the contest, along with an official entry blank, will appear in tomorrow's CRIMSON.
