Cummings Gives Reading

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In his first public appearance this year, E. E. Cummings '15, Charles Eliot Norton Professor of Poetry for 1952-53, gave a reading last night of some of his later poetry in the Agassiz theatre. About 300 students from Radcliffe and the College filled the hall.

Cummings read "Santa Claus: A Morality Play," and poems from "1 x 1" and "seventy-one poems."

This will probably be the only reading Cummings will give of his own poetry at Harvard this year.
