Plerian Sodality Contest Seeks Soloists in Concerte Program

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Plerian Sodality of 1966 will sponsor a contest next month for University and Radcliffe students interested in playing as soloists with the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra at its spring concert.

Orchestra manager Robert L. Swaney '53 said yesterday that the audition schedule would be announced soon. Any concerte is acceptable, he added, but something in the classical style would be preferred since the remainder of the program will be predominantly modern. Anyone interested in competing should contact Swaney or leave his name and that of the instrument he plays in the Orchestra's mailbox at the Music Building.
