Senator Paul, Douglas will give this year's Godkin lectures at 8 p.m. in New Lecture Hall on the evenings of January 9, 10, and 11, it was learned last night.
The Democratic Senator from Illinois will speak on three topics: "The General Problems of Ethics in Government," "The Ethical Problems of the Administrative Branch," and "The Ethical Problems of the Legislative Branch."
Elected to the Senate in 1948, Douglas has taught at the University of Chicago, University of Illinois, Amherst College, and the University of Washington.
