Joseph A. DeGuglielmo '29 officially becomes Mayor of Cambridge today when the City Council meets for the first time in the new year. DeGuglielmo replaces Edward A. Crane '35, who, while he bows out of the mayor's post, retains his seat on the City Council.

DeGuglielmo in the fall of 1950 defended the Lampoon in its court tiff with Cambridge police.
