Eugene M. Zuckert, former assistant dean of the Business School, was nominated by President Truman for membership in the Atomic Energy Commission earlier in the week. If approved by the Senate, he will fill the unexpired term of Sumnri T. Pike, who recently resigned.

Zuckert has been Assistant Secretary of the Air Force since 197. He served at the Business School four years, beginning in 1940. Zuckert also once studied under Associate Justice William O. Douglas in a joint Harvard Business School-Yale Law School program.
