Jerome L. Rappaport '45, founder of the New Boston Committee which was so successful in the November elections, has been named one of the ten outstanding young men of the Greater Boston area by the Boston Junior Chamber of Commerce.
An honorable mention was also awarded to Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr. '88, associate professor of History.
The Junior Chamber of Commerce chose two M.I.T. professors, along with Rappaport and seven others.
