Jaakko Mikkola yesterday expressed satisfaction with the way the cross country team has been working into shape for the all-university handicap meet, which will be held a week from today.
Injured Hugh Maguire is expected to be working out by early next week, while sophomores Emil San Souci and Leo Carroll have been good in practice.
Mikkola declined to go out on the limb about the freshmen despite indications of a possible powerhouse. "It will probably be much better than last year's squad," was as much as he would say.
