The first Law School Coffee Hour of the school year will be held this afternoon in Harkness Commons at 1:30 p.m. Austin W. Scott, Dane Professor of Law, will talk on "The History of the Harvard Law School." Assistant Dean Wesley Bevans will introduce the speaker.

In his welcoming remarks to first year students yesterday, Dean Griswold of the Law School called on young lawyers to exercise "an even higher code than that held at present among members of the American Bar Association."

He also warned the incoming men that their work would be hard and long, and told them to expect "one Saturday night out a month."
