Law Dean Moans Lack Of Literacy in U. S.

"American educators are wondering what college graduates are doing with their education," Erwin N. Griswold, dean of the Law School, told an Australian University audience at Brisbane this week.

The Dean, guest of the Law Council of Australia, addressed a group at Queensland University. He called the level of literacy in the United States "discouragingly low."
