Girls Don't Need Dates for Union

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Women students, possibly suffering from the delusion that dates are required for attendance at the Friday evening dances in the Union, failed to appear in large enough numbers to satisfy last week's swollen stag line.

Ticket-takers' statistics showed that four times as many single tickets were bought last week as couple tickets. The Summer School hopes that this amply demonstrates that the informal Union dances scheduled for July 27, August 3, 10, and 17 are not exclusively for those with pre-arranged dates.

This year the large lounge on the second floor has been reserved for the convenience of those attending the dances. Refreshments are served from 9:30 to 11 p.m., and George Graham's orchestra produces the dance music.
