New Draft Laws Require 3 Forms To Prove Status

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The government has concocted still another form for draft-eligible students to fill out, Registrar Sargent Kennedy '28 announced last night. Henceforth a Harvard certificate of residence is no longer sufficient, but students must fill in a College Student Certificate (SS form 109) in triplicate.

"It is entirely the responsibility of the student," Kennedy warned, "to give or send the University three copies of the form as soon as possible. Harvard will then certify a man's presence at college and indicate his rank in his class.

All undergraduates and graduates must fill in the forms. The certificates have arrived in Boston headquarters, and Philips Brooks House will have them today or tomorrow. Two stamped envelopes, one with the local draft board's address and the other self-addressed, are also required.
