Instructors in English A will remain on next year as teachers of the new General Education course in composition, it was learned yesterday.

The section men will have to adapt themselves from a full credit course to a half course which will extend throughout the year. The new course will be related to the G.E. program in the Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences.

Next year will mark the completion of the General Education program, with freshmen required to take three full G.E. courses. The new course will raise degree requirements from 16 to 16 1/2 credits, which will in turn boost the freshman load to 4 1/2 courses.
