Harvard Wife Grants Yale Over $2,000,000

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yale University has received more than $2,000,000 from the wife of a University library curator, probation of the will of Mrs. William Inglis Morso showed Thursday.

Mrs. Morso, who died June 9, left $15,000 to Harvard.

Last year Mrs. Morso gave Yale over $1,000,000 to finance research by young faculty members. In January she made a second gift of $1,000,000 to establish a fund for study of world affairs and a professorship in the Medical School. She stipulated that both gifts remain anonymous until after her death.

Her widower is honorary curator of the University Library Canadian Collection.
