DOJ Sues Boston and Mayor Michelle Wu ’07 Over Sanctuary City Policy
Eight professors have joined a movement to prevent the execution of Willie McGee, a spokesman for the Young Progressives said last night. McGee, a Negro, is scheduled to be executed at 12:01 a.m. tomorrow morning.
The spokesman for the Y.P., Emmanuel Margolis 4G, said the professors had either sent protest letters or telegrams to President Truman or signed the group's petition.
They include Michael Karpovich, professor of History; Henry J. Cadbury, Hollis Professor of Divinity; Gordon W. Allport '19, professor of Psychology; Henry D. Aiken, associate professor of Philosophy; Rupert Emerson '21, professor of Government.
