Cheap student air travel to Europe has been arranged by K.L.M.--Royal Dutch Airways--it was learned last night. K.L.M. will ferry students to Europe in "group tours," but planes will carry individuals as well.
Five flights have been scheduled, from June 26 to July 18, and officials announced room is available on nearly all of them.
A "Travel Abroad" conference has been arranged by the Student Council, at which representatives of all student travel bureaus will explain current programs and discuss selective service restrictions on student travel abroad. It will be held in the Leverett House Junior Common Room at 8 p.m. tonight.
The speakers will include Tom Callahan, N.S.A. travel director, Peter Zuntz, from the Danish International Student Committee; Jose Vose, for the Netherlands; John Harrison from Great Britain; and Robert Tesdill, director of the Council on Student Travel.
