Paul Marshall Weissman '52 of New Haven and Dunster House will succeed Doug Wilde next year as captain of the varsity golf team. The varsity manager for next year, Jack Rossin Ackerman '52 of New Rochelle, New York, and Adams House was also announced yesterday.
Weissman played in the fifth position this year and compiled a 5-3 record. He won his varsity letter last year also. He also came in second in the 1947 Connecticut Golf Association Junior championship.
