Dartmouth Figures in Trib's Latest Search

The Chicago Tribune series on Ivy League colleges turned to Dartmouth last week. The Dartmouth, undergraduate daily, reported yesterday.

William J. Fulton, publisher Colonel Robert R. McCormick's New York correspondent who "investigated Harvard" earlier this spring, noted with alarm that the college in the "green, pine-dotted hill" was flying the United Nations flag "with its spider web map of the world on a blue background."

In the same piece, he noted that William W. Remington, a state department man convicted on a perjury charge, had graduated from Dartmouth. The association, he concludes, indicates something is wrong in Hanover.
