This morning marks the passing of a 30 year old event that has almost become a tradition. Arthur N. Holcombe '06, Eaton Professor of the Science of Government, will deliver his last Government 1b lecture at 9 a.m.
No other professor now in the University has taught a major course so long. The dropping of this course from Holcombe's schedule will not lessen his teaching load, for he will take on a graduate course in its place. Carl J. Friedrich, professor of Government, will lecture in Government 1b next spring.
