8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
Four hundred alumni saw the premiere Saturday of a movie designed to show prospective freshmen what the University is like. The picture was shown for the first time during a meeting of the Associated Harvard Clubs in Chicago's Hotel Sherman.
Alumni reaction to the picture, entitled "Invitation to Harvard" was "very favorable," according to Peter E. Pratt, Director of Alumnni Records. Prait is chairman of a six-man committee which produced the movie with the cooperation of "The March of Time."
The picture was a "working copy" which will be edited and have an ending tacked on about Commencement before it is released next fall to Harvard Clubs and school committees around the country.
Undergraduates, will be able to see the same copy June 20 in the Tercentenary Theatre during the Glee Club and Band Concert.
