Commissions for 39 graduates of the College Army and Air Force R.O.T.C. units will be conferred at 3:15 p.m. this afternoon on the Lacrosse Field. The final review of members of both units will follow the commissioning of the 26 Air Force and 13 Field Artillery second lieutenants.

The newly appointed officer will stand in the reviewing stand as their units march by in a ceremony which the R.O.T.C headquarters calls "unique in the practice of the Reserve Officer Training Corps units in civilian colleges." Test Using Crew Men as Guinea Pigs

A competitive drill among the six Army platoons will precede the review. The winning group will receive a streamer to attach to the unit guidon for next year. The batteries with the best academic and disciplinary ratings will also receive streamers.
