A wheat sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and tomorrow in the Square. Wheat purchased will be shipped to India to help relieve the famine.
The Boston Wheat-for-India Campaign is heading the drive. Other sponsors are Pitirim A. Sorokin, professor of Sociology; Henry J. Cadbury, Hollis Professor of Divinity; Gordon L. Brumm '53, president of the Harvard World Federalists; the Harvard Liberal Union; and the Harvard Society for Minority Rights.
Cash contributions may be sent to campaign headquarters in lieu of direct wheat purchases.
