500,000 Students Will Escape Draft

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Only 500,000 students will escape service under the scholastic deferments program, spokesmen for Draft Director Major General Hershey disclosed Saturday.

The new scholastic deferment feet was designed to reduce rather than increase the number of men receiving student deferments, he stated.
