Yard Nine Takes Trip, Meets Cushing Today

Twenty-two freshmen, the entire '54 baseball squad, will pile into a bus at 11:30 a.m. today, for a trip to Ashburnham, and a 2:30 p.m. game with Cushing Academy.

The customary lineup has been slightly revamped. Dolph Samborski will start Neil Bortz in right field in place of Dick Scheer, and Bill Hickey in George Donovan's position.

Tall right-hander John Semmelmeyer will start on the mound, and Captain Ron Peyton, who has a played every game this season, will be behind the plate.

The batting order: Bray 3b; Krinsky, ss; Mundheim, lf; Gremp, 1b; Hickey, cf; Bortz, rf; Peyton, c; Shurdut, 2b; Semmelmeyer, p.
