8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports

Original Site of Dunster's Mystery Tombstone Found

The original resting place of the tombstone which recently disappeared from the Dunster House Superintendent's office was located yesterday after extensive sleuthing. Archibald M--'s grave lies near a monument of old cannons in the Cambridge City Cemetery.

Culprits who removed the stone probably entered the graveyard underneath a wooden fence near the Eliot Bridge.

Friends of the pranksters reported that the purpose of taking the stone had miscarried. Last Tuesday morning, the tombstone was erected in the Dunster courtyard as a protest against the dangerous corner of DeWolf Street and Memorial Drive, where several tragic accidents have occurred recently.

Culprits Leave Note

Several pounds of earth were formed into a mound next to the stone and many cost-hangers were put in the ground to encircle the monument. The culprits also left a note, telling where the tombstone belonged.

But by sunrise, both the note and the coat-hangers had disappeared. The tombstone was taken away, leaving a mound of dirt to puzzle students. Rumors about a rampant Scottish Nationalist circulated about the Yard. No one guessed the real sentiment behind the "monument."

The tombstone, however, is still at large. There have been no reports as to its whereabouts since it "disappeared" from Dunster House. Archibald's grave is still bare.
