Healy Gives College Library Six Connolly First Editions

Six first editions of James B. Connolly's sea stories were donated to the College Library last week by James A. Healy of New York City.

The books deal with fishermen of Gloucester and the Boston waterfront. Their publishing dates range from 1927 to 1944. Connolly, who won in 1896 the first Olympic event of modern times, has written 19 other books besides those given to the College.
