Four political groups have entered the fight to stay the execution of Willie McGee, Negro convicted of raping a white woman, set for May 8, in Mississippi.

The Harvard Society for Minority Rights has issued a statement, endorsed by the Young Republications and the 'Liberal Union, saying that they "deplore the way in which some groups have exploited this case for its political propaganda value."

Posters titled "Lynching Under Facade of Legality," advertising a Young Progressive meeting tomorrow night, have appeared on all House and class building bulletin boards.

The coalition of H. S. M. R. H. L. U., and H. Y. R. C., urges students to wire President Truman and to Governor Fielding Wright of Mississippi.
