As far back as last February, the Metropolitan District Commission agreed to install pedestrian traffic lights at the junction of DeWolfe Street and Memorial Drive "when warm weather permits," State Representative Walter J. Sullivan disclosed last night.

Sullivan revealed that he and Representative Francis J. Good had introduced a House bill two months ago directing the M. D. C. to install the lights. The bill was withdrawn after M. D. C. officials promised to take action on the matter. This promise was renewed last week, Sullivan said.
