The varsity tennis team, seeking its second straight win, will lose the services of number one man Charlie Ufford when it meets Brown at 3 p.m. today on the Soldiers Field courts. Bob Bramhall the regular second player, will move up to first while Ufford is attending an annual student conference in New York. The rest of the squad will also advance one position each. In doubles, Gerry Murphy and Charlie Nawn will play third instead of Dave Watts and Bayard Robb. The last two will move to the second spot, replacing Ufford and his partner, Art French.
The freshmen will also meet Brown here at the same time. Gene Mann, who usually plays second, will also be away in New York, so that the players below him will move up one notch.
