Commuters will start circulating petitions nominating officers 'Monday,' Nancy Fisher '64, chairman of the Student Council election committee, announced yesterday. Voting will take place Monday and Tuesday, May 7 and 8, and winners will be announced Wednesday, May 9.
Three officers are to be elected for the newly-formed Commuter Organization: a president, a secretary, and a treasurer. The president will have voting power on the Student Council.
The petitions are due in the Agassiz voting box at 5 p. m. Wednesday, Twenty-five commuter signatures are necessary for nomination. Voting cannot-begin immediately after petitions are turned in because the nominees must be cleared through the Dean's Office for academic eligibility.
