The Adams House baseball team walloped Kirkland, 13 to 2, yesterday with Ted Cook as the winning pitcher. Wally Abrams hit a home-run with two men on base for the Goldcoasters. The game was called after five innings. In the same league, Dudley's nine defeated Lowell, 5 to 0.
In intramural tennis, Kirkland triumphed over Adams, 5 to 2, while a scheduled Winthrop-Eliot match was postponed.
The Deacon softball squad overpowered Adams 15 to 10, in a slugfest. The Commuters edged a Bellboy team 9 to 8 in another close league battle.
House golfers wielded their clubs for the first time this spring yesterday at the Riverside Country Club. Adams outscored Leverett 31/2 to 11/2 with low scores in the 80's. Eliot tied Dunster 21/2 to 21/2, and the match was not played off because of darkness.
Lionel beat Stoughton 9 to 7 in Yard softball, while Matthews North outhit Thayer South to gain an 11 to 10 victory.
