Junior Prom Hoopla Features Dancing, Debating, Parties

This weekend Smith's Junior Prom starts off with a Dinner Dance at Hotel Northampton from 7 p.m. till midnight on Friday. The deadline for both Friday and Saturday nights will be 1 a.m.

Yale will take on the Smith debating team at 1:45 p.m. Saturday on the subject, "Resolved: That the romantic attitude toward love is an outmoded conception." This will be held in the Library browsing room. From 3 p.m. till 5 p.m. the Quad will be the scene of a Garden Party with the Chamber singers. The Prom proper begins at 3:30 p.m. in Scott Gym.

Sunday's picnic at Look Park will be followed by a joint Smith-Williams Glee Club Concert in John M. Greene at 2:45 p.m.
