Heinrich Bruning, Littauer Professor of Government, and one-time chancellor of Germany's Weimar Republic, has accepted a teaching position at the University of Cologne, the "Muncher Sud Deutscher Zeitung" reported recently.
The Munich newspaper reported that Bruning had refused a position at the University of Munich because of his appointment to Cologne. Bruning could not to reached for comment last night.
Bruning headed the Weimar government for several months in the years immediately preceding Hitler. He has been teaching here since before the war.
Bruning at present gives two seminars in Government: "Topics in Comparative Public Administration," and "Topics in International Diplomacy."
