Hedda Hopper, Hollywood columnist, disclosed yesterday that the movie capital is planning to lampoon the Lampoon in retaliation for the latter's recent digs at screen stars and pictures.
The counter attack will be a film, "Son of the Paleface," with Bob Hope taking the leading role. He will play the son of the man killed by Indians in "The Paleface," made several years ago. In the new movie, the son goes to Harvard and graduates after 14 years.
Co-starring with Hope will be Trigger, who, according to Miss Hopper, hates Hope.
