The Charles River will definitely not be the site of the 1951 Dad Vail Rowing Association regatta, according to information released yesterday by the regatta committee in a meeting at the Harvard Club in New York.
Anthony P. Savarose, Jr., chairman of the board of stewards, announced that the "small college" crew classic will be held at Tampa, Florida on May 19. Most predictions were that the regatta would probably be held on the Charles.
