A 'Cliffedweller gave her last $1 to help a little old lady she saw sitting on a bench in the Common yesterday. Several minutes later a police sergeant found $33,000 stuffed away in the handbag of the 70-year old woman, whom the student thought looked destitute.

The anonymous Radcliffe girl paid the taxi fare to as address the lady had mentioned. Nobody there knew her, so the driver drove to the police station, where a sergeant discovered the hidden money.
