Conants Begin British Tour After Vacation

President and Mrs. Conant will fly to England shortly after April 9 for a three week stay during which Conant will visit London, Oxford, and Cambridge. Conant will speak as luncheon guest at the Harvard Club of London on April 17 and also plans to fly the Channel to address a similar luncheon of the Harvard Club of Paris on May 1.

Conant had originally planned to leave for England on an informal visit directly after Commencement on June 22 but he was forced to cancel his plans because of an attack of acute diverticulitis.
